1st Pres Corinth Bible Conference
.jpg)
This week we are participating in the Family Bible Conference of First Presbyterian Church, Corinth, MS - Bill is teaching on "The Breadth and Depth of Missions". It is great to be with "home folk" and energizing to talk about God's plan for His Creation.

All of the teachers are missionaries as well, so we have had the added blessing of enjoying fellowship with those dear servants of the Lord this week.

Lots of Work Going On in Peru
Busy week in Trujillo - teams from Norfolk, VA (including our good friend Charlie Gibson) and Independent Presbyterian Church in Memphis, TN, are in Trujillo to teach Advanced English submersion class at SALI, teach seminary, and various other minstry activities. Meanwhile, Robert Spears and a group from 2nd Presbyterian in Greenville, SC, are ministering in Cajamarca as well. Please pray for all the comings and goings and the many people who will be touched by the work of these teams.

What a Welcome!
We do not have adequate words to express our gratitude for the unbelievable home that awaited us when we arrived in Corinth this week! First Presbyterian Church in Corinth, MS, is providing a marvelous home with a fantastic yard for us this year. And many dear friends gave so much of themselves to make it a home - we walked into a beautiful, ready-to-live-in home. Thank you all so much - we are overwhelmed with how God has provided for our family through you.

Anderson Peru Party

Nate and Beth Bradford had a fun dinner tonight at their house for friends of Peru Mission. Several short-term teams have come from Anderson to Peru to work alongside us, and many others have been praying for the work in Peru over the years, so Nate and Beth invited them over for mini-reunion. We even got to meet former Peru Mission intern Abbi Talley Cord's son, Titus! And we were able to share a bit about Peru Mission's progress and thank them again for their labor and continued prayers for Peru.

Enjoying Cousins
.jpg)
We made it to the States safe and sound - thanks for the prayers! We are doing well, going through a bit of "reverse culture shock" adjusting to life in the USA - especially the kids, who still can't believe we can drink water straight from the sink here! We are thrilled to have so much time to spend with family - the kids are having a blast with their cousins!

USA Bound
.jpg)
We are sad to be leaving Peru, even for this short time. But, we are also excited to be going back to the USA to visit family and friends! Lord willing, we will arrive in Atlanta July 3rd to begin our furlough, or "Home Ministry Assignment", with plans to return to Peru in 2010. Please pray for travelling mercies for us over the next 36 hours.
