New Family in Christ

Larco Presbyterian Church had a sort of Acts 16:33 (when the jailer believed and he and all his family were baptized) experience this weekend.

Gerver and Berta have been together for years, and have 3 precious children together. They moved to Trujillo from the jungle town of Moyobamba to work in our carpentry shop. Since being in Larco Presbyterian Church, they have made a commitment to Christ and deeply desire to walk in His path. So, on Friday night, Gerver and Berta got married and immediately baptized their children. It was a beautiful experience seeing the joy and blessing in that little family. We all had a marvelous time!
