Mother's Day in Arevalo

Mother's Day is really a huge deal here in Peru. The Youth in Arevalo Presbyterian Church put on a delightful Mother's Day program for the ladies in the commmunity. There were songs, poems, skits, a sermon, and food. The ladies enjoyed it immensely and left feeling quite appreciated and encouraged.

Of course, this was our favorite performance of the evening: William, Abby Baker and Mollie playing "Ode to Joy" on their violins.
