On Wednesday, the current board of Christian Missionary Society met in Statesboro, GA, to take some definitive steps toward installing the permanent, active board. We are so thankful to Roland Barnes, Executive Director, and those Elders and Deacons at Trinity Pres. in Statesboro who served as provisional board for several years - which enabled us to function as a Mission and deal promptly with accounting and administrative issues. Bill was present at the meeting, as well as Brad Ball (who travelled from Peru), Matthew Nasekos and David Bradford. During the meeting, Brad Ball was officially elected as Executive Director, to take effect in January 2010. Also, the Board was able to deal with the audits for 2007 and 2008, as well as other administrative issues. Please pray for us during this period of transition, that the Lord would be glorified through His church in Peru.
