We recently had a bit of an “old home week” here in Peru with the visits of old Mississippi friends Bill and Martha Boyd and Philip Palmertree, who traveled to Peru to speak in the 7th Annual IEPP Missions Conference as well as minister in the churches in Trujillo. Bill Boyd, now pastor of All Saints’ PCA in Austin, TX, and Bill Bradford attended university in MS together just a few short years ago. Bill Boyd's wife, Martha, is also a MS girl and graduated from the same university as Bill and Bill. Philip Palmertree, now pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Kosciusko, MS, and Bill Bradford graduated from high school in Jackson, MS, as well overlapping during their years of seminary study at RTS as well - and Allen attended college with Philip and his wife in MS. Also with Philip was Danny Temple, an elder in First Presbyterian Church in Kosciusko, MS. Not only did we enjoy reliving memories and catching up on folks back home during our fellowship with them, we were also encouraged as we sat under their teaching and wisdom. After they departed, a group from All Saints’ PCA stayed in Trujillo and attended patients in the Wichanzao Clinic and assisted with VBS in the Wichanzao Church. Thank you for the support, the hard work and the nostalgia, brethren!
