The ladies' group continues meeting faithfully in Arevalo Presbyterian Church each Friday. We are beginning a new study - an extremely encouraging book by J.I. Packer entitled "Never Beyond Hope" ("Esperanza Sin Limites"). Packer studies the lives of several people in the Bible - showing how God works and offers hope despite our weaknesses and problems.
And we continue with our rotation of activities - crafts, cooking, sports and educational talk. They are also participating in a microsavings program, as well as recycled paper production micro-business.
Today we had an excellent class on yogurt production given by Alberto, one of the leaders of the University Ministry. Several of the women hope to make the yogurt in their houses to sell in the market and improve their economic condition.
