Mollie and William just began classes with a new violin teacher, Ronald Serrano. We took classes for 2 years with our previous teacher, but he just didn't have time to teach privately any more. So, we searched around and found that our Methodist missionary friends here are really pleased with Ronald as a teacher. Ronald is 2nd chair violinist in the Trujillo Symphony. He fell in love with the violin at age 10 and basically taught himself to play through much perseverance and diligence, since there were no violin teachers available in Trujillo then. He is precise and enthusiastic, and is patiently improving their violin skills while teaching them more music theory.
